As promised, i’ve made a texture design on illustrator. It was really fun playing with textures. The skills that i’ve applied onto the artwork are appearance panel [ fill, overlays, multiply and gradient ] and texture effect such as grain and texturizer. Anyhow, I did not know that illustrator had this function. I’m really looking forward to know what illustrator could do.
I’ve practiced my skills in a tutorial website known as Vectips. It guided me throughout the whole process of my studies. Credits to the owner of Vectips. Below are my artwork.
Today i would like to speak about texture in design. In my recent research, i found out that texture plays an important role in background of a design platform. For an example of media are using it are website, posters and motion graphics.
Texture means the feel, appearance or consistency of a surface or a substance. In my opinion, without a texture in design, graphic would look very plain and simple. You can see clearly that it is very digital and it looks like it is done in windows paint tool. Whereas, with the use of texture, it would provide more impact and professional to the digital artwork. Stay tune for vector texture practice.

I’m really inspired by graphic forms because to me it’s very intriguing. The sense of being able to touch and look at the process after every tiny details gives me absolute excitement. Maybe that is the reason why i love going out to various art exhibitions.
Below are the Art Exhibition that i joined previously :
CREATIVE CITY GAME
I find it creative. This poster is made of little pieces leaflets / advertisement which then formed into an image of a shark. I will do this on my next blog.

YAKIN MALAYSIA // HAVE FAITH
“As Malaysians, our patriotism starts by us having faith in our country. Right here through this gesture, we believe in DOING rather than SAYING” – Yakin Malaysia
In this artwork, there are input of malaysian flag, national flower (hibiscus), typography and graphics which potray patriotism.
I could say that i’m proud of the illustration that i did for ” Go go Eco “. The results of the illustration turn out to be better than i expected. Go go Eco is a interactive media website that aims to educate young children about the importance of recycling.
Before kickstart, I started off referencing on a interactive website of the same agenda. The websites that i explored are [ http://www.marukin-ad.co.jp/ecoego ] and [ http://mini-mundi.com ]. I observe the colors and design that are used in their website. By doing so, i could know the styles that i’m supposed to apply.

What media do you see yourself producing in two years time? What research could you conduct in order to inform this future practice?
I wish to produce a great digital artworks in 2 years time. I believe that i will explore, observe and collect alot of cool artworks to absorb knowledge in the present & future.
This is an image of me. In a way to describe my personality, I’m an outgoing and naughty person and lastly I love adventures. I took this image from a final year project that i’ve done this year.
